Upstate Senior Network proudly presents (at no charge) on Friday, March 19 the following event:
Please join us via Zoom as Donald R. Lilly NHA, CRCFA, LMSW, Vice President of Health Services, The Woodlands at Furman, discusses how Covid -19 has affected the senior population and give you a greater insight into their world over the last year. During this presentation, the following objectives should be accomplished:
1) Understand the steps taken to keep the senior living population safe.
2) Understand and be able to identify the impact these steps had on the mental health of residents in a senior living community. Specifically looking at the negative outcomes.
3) Understand how these “lockdowns” impacted the families of senior living residents.
4) Understand what we have learned over the last year to combat these negative outcomes on mental health and turn a negative outcome into a positive outcome.
5) Understand what we in senior living plan to take forward with us into the future.
6) Understand and identify the steps we are taking in senior living to bring our communities out of these “lockdowns."
