Each May, in honor of Older Americans’ Month, Spartanburg County Parks offers a free half-day conference where attendees can enjoy a variety of sessions, eat, and grab swag in a vendor fair. The theme for Older Americans’ Month 2024 is “Powered by Connections.” For this reason, the sessions will showcase several amazing organizations offering programs/connections for seniors in Spartanburg (and surrounding areas). Come learn about these programs and how to get involved. Then, enjoy a free lunch and gather some helpful information in a vendor fair. The day will start with our keynote speaker, Gail Stokes. You will have the opportunity to hear from the resource guru herself. It’s free to participate, just RSVP by Tuesday, April 30th.
