The Alzheimer?s Association support group for Laurens County that meets at First Baptist Church, 301 S. Broad St, in Clinton on the 2nd Tuesday evening of each month is hosting a special showing of the PBS Home Video entitled, ?The Forgetting: A Portrait of Alzheimer?s,? for all interested persons in the community on Tuesday evening, October 13, 6:30-8:00 PM.

This documentary offers insight and hope by weaving together:
*real-world experiences of persons with Alzheimer?s and their caregivers,
*the history and biology of Alzheimer?s and
*the ongoing challenge to end the disease.

A no-cost, in-home sitter for a loved one with dementia can be arranged through the Alzheimer?s Association to help family members attend.
