The Upstate South Carolina Gerontological Society will sponsor ?Trauma and the Elderly? for the November meeting presented by Carol Tripp, LMSW. Ms. Tripp is an Emergency Room Social Worker for St. Francis Hospital and will discuss the unique aspects of emergency room care for the elderly.

Class Credit Information: Two hours of continuing education credit will be awarded for each program to social workers and counselors. A certificate of attendance for two hours of continuing education credit will be awarded to all others.

Registration Information: The Upstate Gerontological Society is a membership organization dedicated to educating professional in aging issues. You may attend one meeting as a guest. Annual membership includes ten educational programs across the Upstate.
