The Spartanburg Chapter will meet again this year for our second meeting. We kicked off with an outstanding first networking meeting with our senior peers. This is an excellent opportunity to meet senior industry professionals and learn about the various services in the business. At each meeting you will have the chance to exchange information and make new contacts.
Our lunch sponsors for the month of February are Jessica Newman representing Eden Terrace. And Erin Wofford representing Carolina's Behavioral Health. Please let us know by Monday, February 26th by noon if you will be attending for an accurate lunch count. You may do so by clicking on the RSVP button at the top of this page.
Our guest speaker will be Andrew Jeffers with Clemson University/Cooperative Extension. His educational topic will be on "Bed Bugs". Useful information we should all be aware of working in the senior industry.
It's also time to pay your annual dues. Dues are $75 per person and your paid membership allows you to attend all locations of Upstate Senior Network meetings. For more information about Upstate Senior Network and to complete a membership application, go to www.upstateseniornetwork.com.
You may bring a guest at no charge for a visit to ONE of the meeting locations. Reservation is also required for guest.
We will also re-vote at this meeting for our Community Partner to sponsor this year. We will narrow it down to three popular votes and have these candidates present at our March meeting. Keep in mind the candidate will need to be a non-profit organization.
