Join us for our March meeting!
USN Greenwood chapter covers Clinton, Laurens, Greenwood and Newberry so if you serve any of those areas be sure to join our meeting.
This month we will have lunch sponsored by The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health. The Carolina Center provides teens, adults, and senior adults with comprehensive treatment for a range of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. They also offer integrated programs to address the needs of patients with dual-diagnosis (or co-occurring disorders). The programs are available at various levels of care to accommodate the severity of every patient’s condition: inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment.
Our speaker this month will be Langley Richardson with The Upper Savannah Council of Governments. Upper Savannah Council of Governments’ Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is designated by the South Carolina Department on Aging as the coordinating and planning body for services for older adults in Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick and Saluda counties. The primary goal of the AAA is to develop and promote a comprehensive, coordinated community-based service delivery system with simple access that will improve the quality of life for all older adults in the region and enable them to lead independent lives with dignity in their own homes for as long as possible.
