Caris Healthcare is looking for dedicated hospice volunteers in the Upstate. Volunteering could be as simple as baking a birthday cake, crocheting a prayer scarf, knitting a blanket, or visiting patients in their homes or nursing facilities. If you already are involved in a hospital/nursing home visitation program, maybe you would be willing to add a few more folks to the list who do not have a regular support. We also have student internships available. Caris provides all the training needed. I would also love the opportunity to speak to anyone regarding end of life issues, including hospice and the grieving process.
