Join Dr. Olga Brawman-Mintzer, Researcher and Professor of Psychiatry with the Roper St. Francis Research and Innovation Center to learn about Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD).

Depression is a serious disease that strikes the young, middle-aged and the elderly alike, and can be deadly by increasing the risk of suicide. Over the years, important treatments emerged, from medications to new types of therapy, offering help and relief for many affected individuals. However, over 30% of people do not respond to their initial treatment(s). These people suffer from treatment resistant depression (TRD).

Find out how TRD is diagnosed, the risk factors, and best approaches for managing symptoms including new trends in treatment and current research studies. A live Q&A session will follow the presentation.
