Admin Assistant/ Billing Clerk

Home Instead Senior Care provides non-medical, in-home care to seniors in the tri-county area. We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our growing team!

Responsibilities:

Daily finalization of billing and payroll from the previous days' activity
Call employees to track down and document inconsistencies in clock-in/out times
Call client to notify of past due accounts and assist with collections
Educate employees on mobile clock-in/out application and how to complete Activities of Daily Living electronically
File Activities of Daily Living with Long-Term Care Insurance companies twice monthly
Field and respond to client billing questions and employee payroll questions
Prepare client invoices twice monthly
Manage and maintain company DHEC records for compliance
Scan employee DHEC records into Clear Care Software
Send DHEC paperwork to communities as needed
Answer phones with a positive and professional demeanor
Assist with data entry for new employees as needed
Participate in new hire orientation as needed
Monitor for expiring driver's licenses and car insurance
Assist with client scheduling as needed
Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience in the senior care field, or working/caring for seniors a plus, but not required
Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
Be a team player and be open to both positive and constructive feedback
Have good problem-solving skills
After training, be able to prioritize daily tasks and be able to work with little supervision
We are willing to train the right person with no experience!
Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
