The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support services for the Development Department and Outreach and Education Department. Successful candidate must have excellent computer skills and experience, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Examples of Job Duties Include:
1. Provide strong administrative skills and coordinate services among departments including correspondence, records maintenance, data entry
2. Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Manage and maintain accurate and up to date donor records
5. Assist in the development of excel spreadsheets
6. Maintain and administer regular mail-outs
7. Format and distribute monthly employee and volunteer newsletters
8. Assist with basic website and marketing material updates
9. Participate in HOU community events for marketing and fundraising
10. Be flexible, organized and function professionally under stressful situations
