Compliance Officer–Full time

The physical CO office will be in Columbus, NC but responsibilities will include our Hospice House, all of Polk County, NC and t, South Carolina

Compliance Officer will coordinate and communicate all compliance activities and programs, as well as plan, implement, monitor, and train staff in all aspects of the compliance program including Quality Improvement, Hospice Federal & State regulations, contractual requirements, and accreditation standards. Compliance Officer will function as key representative with Federal/State agencies and industry organizations re: regulatory policy.

Current RN license (NC or SC) is required, as is experience with Medicare/Medicaid in a healthcare industry, and understanding of hospice reimbursement and certification issues; at least 2 years of nursing experience and a bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred.
