Part-time Hourly position, 35 hours per week, M-F 5:00AM – 1:00 PM
Position includes, but is not limited to:

*Position requires long periods of standing and lifting up to 40 lbs. on a daily basis
*Cooking and preparing 300 + meals daily
*Food storage
o Ensure refrigeration/freezer at proper temperature
o Record temperatures
o Arrange food items for daily use
o Storage of all items from delivery trucks
o Knowledge of all food inventory
*Food preparation
o Knowledge of number of meals for each site and for each program
o Preparation for next day meals
o Adhere to all safe food handling and preparation procedures for all Federal, State and local regulations
o Adheres to all food preparation/handling sanitation and safety precautions
*Cooking/baking
o Cook/bake meals according to recipes approved by dietitian
*Kitchen Clean up

*Required one (1) year experience in cooking within a commercial/restaurant kitchen
*Ability to follow recipes provided by Licensed Dietitian
*Candidate needs to have good communication skills and be able to accurately complete daily paperwork
*Preferred experience in Serv-Safe and/or certification but not required
