Lake Emory Post Acute Care is an 88 bed long term care home – but that doesn’t tell you a whole lot about who we are… The residents who call Lake Emory home, call those who work here, friend. This place is so much more than “bricks and mortar”. It’s a place that is filled with people whose passion is to serve others with dignity and respect – to do their very best every single day. We have been fortunate in building such a team here and are now looking for a Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team, someone who shares the philosophy of caring can ensure that our residents receive quality care.

SUMMARY:
As Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for the overall quality clinical outcomes of the facility. Priority one will be quality care, customer service and employee relations. In addition, regulatory management, responsible for attracting and retaining top performing talented team members as well as the supervision and career coaching of existing team members on staff.

Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
Desire to enrich resident and staff’s lives
2+ years experience as a Director of Nursing in SC (RN license) - must have stable work history and the dedication and commitment to lead our healthcare team.
Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee and community relationships
Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures
Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care facilities.
Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.

This program is designed to familiarize you with the systems and introduces all of the valuable resources available to you. Our orientation program will help to provide answers and resources from the very beginning.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Eligible to participate in Annual Incentive Compensation Plan.
