Oversees the recruitment, training, screening, placement and supervision of Foster Grandparent Volunteers to ensure successful and productive volunteer assignments.
Plans and implements promotional activities to market program, to increase community awareness, to secure additional funding, and to recruit volunteers.
Maintains appropriate fiscal and program records, provides needed information to Executive Director and Fiscal Staff as requested.
Develops/maintains a system of volunteer stations that focuses on identified community needs and provides meaningful appropriate assignments for volunteers.
Staffs and coordinates the FGP Resource Council, providing primary staff support and technical assistance in promotional, evaluation and volunteer support activities.
Trains, supervises and evaluates program staff to ensure effective program operations
With the Executive Director, establishes long range goals and objectives for the program, develops new volunteer stations in response to changing community needs, participates in agency strategic planning.

B.A./B.S. degree required. Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Gerontology or related field preferred. Must have 5 years of experience in human services or related field, of which at least two years were in a supervisory capacity; knowledge of grant / contract administration; knowledge of community resources. Knowledge of office software system required, computer skills required.
