Position Description

Be a part of the area's leading provider of hospice care! Ark Hospice is seeking a Community Liaison to serve the Upstate of South Carolina based out of our Easley, SC office. This person will use his/her marketing/community relations expertise to develop strong relationships with key referral sources in the medical community that lead to hospice referrals. This includes educating and coordinating communications between physicians, discharge planners, case managers, medical staff and caregivers regarding hospice care for patients. This position also includes making client calls to new and established customers, community speaking engagements, and representing Ark Hospice at special events.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, creative, have a positive attitude and personality, and genuine compassion for patient care and their families in this challenging phase of life. A bachelor?s degree in marketing, public relations, healthcare, or related field. Hospice experience with established relationships and knowledge of the area?s medical community a plus.
