We are looking for a motivated individual with a lot of energy and eagerness to learn a variety human resources and recruiting skills. You will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities. An excellent candidate for this position is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills. You will be comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed. The goal is to ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Answer each employment inquiry in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.

· Develop and implement new recruitment strategies online and within the community.

· Schedule and conduct applicant phone screens and interviews in an efficient and professional manner.

· Evaluate and update all orientation and training materials as needed

· Monitor retention strategies that may include follow ups, thank you notes, employee of the month implementation, and prize patrols.

· Assist with new CAREGiver orientation by teaching training modules, collecting and reviewing paperwork, ordering and picking up lunch, taking pictures.

· Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities

· Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, CAREGivers, clients and family members.

· Conduct Service Inquiries and Care Consultations as needed following the consultative sales process

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

HOME INSTEAD RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assume accountability for department and facility policies and procedures and assume accountability for information contained in the current employee handbook.

· Support the weekend on-call rotation by participating in secondary on-call responsibilities as assigned.

· Attend all CAREGiver quarterly meetings

· Adhere to established safety policies and procedures.

· Perform all responsibilities with adherence to HIPAA.

· Maintain professional appearance and conduct exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times.

· Participate in educational and departmental opportunities.

o Attend mandatory continuing education sessions.

o Attend department meetings and/or educational opportunities as required.

o Attend facility functions and demonstrate interest in Home Instead activities.

· Show evidence of working as a team member.

· Adhere to attendance and scheduling requirements.

· Accept additional duties as necessary in a cooperative manner.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

· Experience in aspects of long term care for the elderly preferred but not required.

· 1 year minimum experience in Human Resources

· Pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

· Valid South Carolina driver’s license required with no infractions within the past three (3) years.
