?User support of hardware and software; support call documentation
?Maintain adequate knowledge of new and existing hardware/software to maximize efficiency of network and users
?Maintain hardware / software asset inventory and network documentation
?Perform end-user hardware and software installation, configuration, training and upgrades
?Monitoring of servers and networks components
?Monitor system log files for errors and resolve data integrity problems
?Implementing, maintaining, and monitoring network components including routers, layer 3 switches, firewalls, Windows servers, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS and virtualized environments
?Install of network hardware, cabling, and peripherals to support network infrastructure
?Support in data archive procedures
?Assist in annual audits of all user accounts to ensure permissions are accurate
?Identify potential threats and problems and recommend appropriate solutions
?Support and enforce IT security policies
Required Experience
?Computer Science or related field degree?Minimum of five (5) years technology experience demonstrating progression of increased responsibility, skills, stability and success
?MCSA/MCSE/MCITP Certification
?Ability to diagnose problems, recommend solutions for and assure appropriate corrections are made
?Knowledge and/or experience with desktop, laptop, peripherals, communication equipment.
?Strong deductive reasoning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
?Ability to prioritize, make decisions based on sound logic, assess progress and make directional changes if necessary
?Ability to effectively work in or lead a team, share information, motivate and teach
?Ability to clearly, effectively and professionally communicate orally, in writing or via electronic means in a manner appropriate to the audience
?Available on call nights and weekends.
