The successful candidate is responsible for a full spectrum of programming for Assisted Living and Independent Living residents and an oversight of the life enrichment programming in skilled nursing, both long term care and short term rehabilitation.
Required ExperienceThe successful candidate must have ONE of the following:
*A four year degree from an accredited college or university with a major in recreation, creative arts therapy, therapeutic recreation, art, art education, psychology, sociology, or occupational therapy.
*A high school diploma and 3 years of experience in resident activities in a healthcare facility, or
*Hold a current certification from the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification.
Other Requirements include:
A valid SC Driver's license free of violations
25 years of age
Intermediate computer skills
3 years of experience in activity programming, social work, recreation, education geriatrics or other long-term care field.
2 years of supervisory experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office products including Publisher
