Position Description

Responsible for managing all aspects of the provision of patient social services. Establishes, implements and evaluates goals and objectives for social services to meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the organizations mission and philosophy.

Required Experience

1. A graduate of a Master's program in social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and Licensed by the state of South Carolina.
2. Minimum of one (1) years' experience in hospice. Understands hospice philosophy, and issues of death and dying.
3. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, organizational skills, computer based knowledge.
4. Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness and flexibility in performing job responsibilities.
5. Physically able to meet job requirements.
