Position Description

The Foothills Retirement Community is beginning to hire companions for the new Memory Support Center. The Center consists of 20 private rooms surrounding a household style den, kitchen, and dining room.

The Resident Companion is responsible for the life activities of residents in memory support center including personal care, household management activities, life enrichment, serving meals, assisting with feeding, medication administration as a surrogate family member, doing personal laundry and routine light housekeeping duties. the companions will work 12 hour shifts!

Required Experience

A high school diploma or GED, CNA certification, knowledge of food service and sanitation regulations, CPR certification, experience working with the senior adult population, medication administration training.
