Position Description

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health, a 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital in Greer, SC, is looking for a weekend PRN Nurse Practitioner. The weekend NP will provide physical assessments, complete medical history and physicals, complete medical consults, order labs and tests, and occasionally provide education, as needed, to patients, families and significant others.

Required Experience

Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license to practice in the state. Maintains national certification in nurse practitioner specialty area. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality in regards to all information; skilled in flexibility, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills; crisis management skills; skills in analysis and evaluation; sound clinical judgment and decision-making; able to understand and apply applicable standards and regulations (e.g. The Joint Commission, CMS, DHEC, etc.).
