Nursing Home Administrator

As a nursing home administrator, you'll be responsible for operational oversight of a 44 bed snf. Tasks in this role will include developing, organizing and directing the facility's programs and activities. You'll also conduct daily meetings with staff, as well as interpret the facility's policies/procedures to employees, residents, visitors, government agencies, and make routine inspections of the facility and serve as the liaison to the governing board, medical staff and other professional and supervisory staff. Additional responsibilities will also include assisting in the recruitment and selection of department directors, supervisors, consultants and staff and working with the facility's insurance carrier, legal counsel, and other designated personnel in developing and implementing a risk managment program.
*Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Public Health or Business Administration
*Current, unemcumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements of the State.
*Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity, in a hospital or nursing facility.
*Knowledge of OBRA regulations and the survey process.
*Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
