Palmetto Family Homecare is currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our Charleston office team. With this position you will be responsible for the daily office management and operations. Additional responsibility description listed below.


Business Management:
•Maintain all accounting functions at Palmetto Family Homecare such as Payroll, Billing, Filing of Claims to the Payers, Accounts Receivable, Balancing of Bank Statements and any other Accounting functions that may arise.
•Maintain all accounting files as per DHEC, Medicaid and Medicare regulations.
•Assist Administrator(s) in planning, organizing, implementing, and accomplishing day-to-day operations and goals of the agency.

Staff Development and Supervision:
•Monitor and manage staff of 5 performance in accordance with position job description and meet regularly with assigned staff to review job performance.
•Receive and respond to referrals and service inquiries
•Assist with recruiting, hiring, orientations, in-services, disciplinary actions, etc.
•Assist Administrators in developing quarterly and annual goals.
•Conduct staff meetings in the absence of the Administrator as needed.
•Other general office and clerical functions.
•Other duties assigned by the Administrator(s)

Community and Outside Agency Relations
•Approve and coordinate all client referrals and intakes from all referral sources.
•Assist with marketing and public relations efforts.
•Represent agency at community functions and professional organizations as needed

•Bachelor Degree
•Supervisory experience required
Experience in general office management in a home health or related setting preferred.
•Excellent organizational, written and communication skills.

•Must be reliable, innovative, and a self-starter
•Must have conflict management, leadership, problem solving, financial management, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
•Must have excellent Organizational, Communication and Written skills.
•Experience in organizing, managing, marketing and growing an office
