Position Description

Immediate position open for a PRN Medical Social Worker. Social Worker responsible for assessing the psychosocial needs of the hospice patient and family. Must have knowledge and sound understanding of hospice philosophy, ability to apply psychosocial skills and counseling techniques in a wide variety of hospice situations, and extensive knowledge of resource or support agencies and the method of accessing services.

Required Experience

Must have a Masters degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. LMSW or LISW certification preferred. Previous hospice experience preferred. Must have current CPR certification. Must possess a valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance.
