Position Description

The Program Director for Senior Action works closely with the Executive Director to research, design, implement, monitor, and supervise fun and engaging programs for seniors that are in alignment with Senior Action’s purpose.

This person will develop and implement all program guidelines and policies with the purpose of ensuring compliance with all government regulations as well as maintaining alignment with the organization's mission. S/He monitors the effectiveness of programs making adjustments as needed.

This is a great position for anyone who enjoys working with seniors and other staff members in an energetic and fun environment. This is a very rewarding position as the program director has the ability to positively impact the senior population of the upstate!

The Program Director will:
_Be responsible for all of the programs and services in place at all of Senior Action’s locations
_Possess refined and well-organized multi-tasking skills
_Have the ability to design program logic models and outcome measurements
_Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; five (5) years related experience working with seniors as a program supervisor; three (3) years’ experience in staff management and supervision.
