Responsible for managing and delivering all programs including care consultation, information and referral, support groups, educational programs and safety services. Provide support and training to family and professional caregivers and others who provide care for individuals with Alzheimer's or a related dementia. Provide education and awareness to the community. Network with other organizations in the community to insure good access to available resources. Manage other daily operations and activities as required.
This is a full-time, salaried position that reports to the VP of Programs. Evening/weekend work is occasionally needed. Travel throughout the Western Upstate of SC required.
Required ExperienceSkills and Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize commitments and manage multiple programs/activities on an ongoing basis. An understanding of Alzheimer's, dementia and associated problems. Team player with good networking skills.
Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. At least 3 years experience in related field. Background in case management or social work desired.
