The Greenville Area Parkinson Society is a rapidly growing, 100% local nonprofit seeking a motivated, self-starter who is interested in sharing their passion and energy to serve our ambitious mission! We are seeking a team member to manage the current programs and volunteers, while building relationships with all GAPS members. This is a hybrid, full-time position that will report directly to the Executive Director.

• Member-facing director with the responsibility to organize and manage all in-person and virtual programs, volunteers for said programs, and build relationships with members
• Responsible for interfacing with all program venues for accurate space and time, and securing speakers for individual programs
• Attend monthly and weekly programs to interact with the members and volunteers; increase and coordinate member attendance at events
• Manage private Members Only Facebook page
• Track data on member attendance, volunteer engagement and growth details
• Responsible for the recruitment, training, and management of all GAPS volunteers; ensuring a healthy fit in the GAPS culture
• Attend all GAPS events and community events (where GAPS is a vendor) where volunteers are present and delegate tasks/roles as needed

Skills and Qualifications:
Initiator and self-starter; Excellent written and oral communication; Highly organized; enjoys engaging with the Parkinson’s community members; desires to serve the needs of our more senior members who need a personal touch
