Elite Home Care and it's Senior Day Center are expanding and we are searching for a Quality Assurance nurse to perform in-home care assessments for our clients as well as caregiver competency evaluations. The QA nurse will also assist with Physician Services at our new Senior Day Center and fulfill daily specific clinical responsibilities of the day program.
Duties will include:
1- Review the Client Service Plan and develop a caregiver task list prior to the start of care and document accordingly.
2- Provide the Client with written information regarding advanced directives, their bill of rights, and our client grievance procedure prior to the start of care and document accordingly.
3- Making supervisory visits to our Client’s home within 30 days from start of care, and then once every 3 months thereafter, assisting caregivers as necessary and documenting accordingly.
4- Document caregiver training and competency.
Required Experience
Excellent verbal/written communication skills are a must. as interaction with Clients, Families, and other healthcare Providers are essential to the role of the QA NurseHospice or Home Health Nursing Experience Preferred
SC State Board Licensed- Registered Nurse
Capable of assessing client living situation and personal care needs.
Capable of evaluating caregiver competency in terms of his or her ability to carry out assigned duties and his /her ability to relate to his/her client.
Able to assume responsibility for caregiver training through individual instruction, group meetings or workshops as scheduled.
