Position Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients according to the physician's orders. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total patient care and nursing care plans for each patient.

Required Experience

1. Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation.
2. Nursing experience required, with experience in Hospice or Home
Care preferred.
3. Must successfully complete on site evaluations and competencies
within ninety (90) days of employment and annually thereafter.
4. Must possess a sound knowledge of nursing principles,
procedures and elements of patient family teaching.
5. Overnight travel may be required.
