Position Description

The social worker helps to meet the needs of individuals and families affected by life-limiting illnesses and end-of-life issues; works with populations of varying cultures, ages, socioeconomic classes as well as nontraditional families. The social worker must by prepared to assess the needs and intervene appropriately.

Required Experience

1. Masters of Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work
2. Licensed by South Carolina or Georgia Board of Social Work Examiners
3. Two years in health care setting preferred
