Mary Peters, MS CMC Founder and Owner of Care For Life has promoted Sheena Janse, CRCFA, to President of Care For Life. Prior to this promotion, Janse was the company’s Executive Vice President.
In her role as President, Janse will be responsible for strategic business development, implementation and evaluation of high quality services of the Geriatric Care Management and Home Care Company. Founded in 1995, Care For Life was the first Geriatric Care Management and Home Care company in Charleston and continues to be a leader in the field.
Mary Peters recruited Janse based upon her work in the community, knowledge of and dedication to the elderly population, as well as her business and regulatory knowledge. Peters remains the sole owner of the company and will continue to provide vision and support to the continued success of Care For Life.
Janse has over 27 years of senior healthcare experience. She joined the company over 3 years ago, originally as Director of Marketing and Business Development and quickly moving into the role of Vice President. Janse spent over seventeen years in the skilled nursing field and another seven as an assisted living facility administrator. She is a licensed administrator and holds a certificate in Care Management. She has served on the Board of SCARCH (South Carolina Association of Residential Crae Homes) and currently serves on the Boards of, NAIPC (National Aging in Place Council- Charleston Chapter) , LSN (Low Country Senior Networking) and volunteers on the planning committee for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The Home Care Industry has changed dramatically from the time Care For Life visited the first home care client 22 years ago. In a landscape largely populated by franchises, CFL is noted for its staff of senior care professionals and comprehensive approach in meeting the individual needs of each Client Care For Life’s mission is to help older people with services at home and adjunct facility care. The accomplishments and skills of Care For Life’s newly appointed President, Sheena Janse, ensures Care For Life will continue as an Industry leader.
