Members of the local Aging Life Care Association™ Charleston Chapter work independently and provide guidance and advocacy for families who are caring for older relatives or disabled adults. With a specialized focus on issues related to aging, these professionals assist clients with the challenges of aging—such as finding appropriate housing, in-home care, referrals to medical providers or elder law attorneys—as well as the advocacy and support that provides families peace of mind. As a unit, the members work together to represent the national ALCA non-profit association (i) to raise awareness about important issues and resources related to aging well, (ii) to sponsor, participate in, and plan local community outreach efforts, and (iii) to educate other professionals about the opportunities to partner with Aging Life Care™ Managers to help clients age well.

· Planning committee and additional support for Lutheran Homes of South Carolina’s Forget Me Not Alzheimer’s Education Series September 10th Magic of Memories Dinner at Franke at Seaside to support our local Alzheimer’s Association Chapter.
