Council on Aging in Union County – Supplies for Seniors
Release Date
We are excited to share that the Council on Aging in Union County has purchased durable medical equipment and incontinence supplies to give out at no cost to Union County residents 60 and older. We were able to purchase these items with an additional grant we received from United Way and the Foundation for the Carolinas. Our intention is to give our older neighbors the equipment and supplies they need to keep them safe while they are isolating at home. If you know of any older adults in need, please have them contact our office. Our hardworking team can be reached at: 704-292-1797 or coa@coaunion.org.
We currently have:
Wheelchairs
Transport chairs
Shower chairs
Tub transfer benches
Bedside commodes
Rollators (walkers with a seat)
Walkers
Raised toilet seats
Tub grab bars
Canes
Incontinence supplies: disposable briefs and bed pads
These supplies are intended for seniors that are living independently at home. If you have any unique situations of someone who lives in a senior living community that is not able to access equipment, please don't hesitate to reach out with your needs and we can see what we can do. On the flip side, we also accept new and gently used donations of these items.
Thank you for all you do to keep our older neighbors healthy and safe!
