DayBreak earns Senior Shield approval

DayBreak Adult Care Services is proud to annouce that it is the first non-medical home care company in the Upstate to earn the "Senior Shield". Both DayBreak Adult Care Services locations in Columbia and Greenville have met all of the requirements to be "Senior Shield" certified.

"Senior Shield is a product of a mandate from the General Assembly to protect South Carolina seniors from fraud. Senior Shield was created as a result of a joint resolution of the South Carolina General Assembly (H.5025) and is spearheaded by the Lt. Governor's Office on Aging. The mission of Senior Shield is to act as a shield for senior citizens by creating a system where ethical business practices are clearly defined, identified, and supported. Senior Shield intends to stop senior fraud by educating the public about scams and identifying its ethical players and encouraging seniors to do business with them."
