DEMENTIA CARE WORKSHOP CREATED BY TEEPA SNOW

SENIOR HELPERS is proud to offer our unique 2 hour Educational Program to Senior Communities to assist in training their CNA's.
Attendees of this workshop will learn how to apply techniques based on the Senior GEMS, a proprietary program developed by Senior Helpers and Dementia expert Teepa Snow, to engage in meaningful interactions with people with dementia. This program will focus on providing more effective strategies, techniques and support for caring for a person who is experiencing normal aging, as well as those with dementia.

PURPOSE & GOAL:

* Further educate staff in caring for those with dementia and alzheimer's

* Improve the level of care to your residents

* Help to reduce levels of fustration in staff and residents

* Utilize as a marketing opportunity when families are shopping for trained staff.
