Kelly Jo Barnwell Receives AARP Community Impact Award for Service to Anderson County

During the AARP National Day of Service on September 11, 2025, , AARP South Carolina proudly celebrated Kelly Jo Barnwell with the AARP Community Impact Award. The award was presented by Charmaine Fuller-Cooper, AARP SC State Director, and Cassandra Addison, AARP SC Volunteer State President. Kelly Jo has dedicated her life to helping older adults in Anderson County stay active, connected, and engaged, while also mentoring youth and supporting local nonprofits. Her compassion and leadership reflect the very best of our community. Kelly Jo is also an active member of Upstate Senior Network (professionals serving seniors) and has served as Anderson Chapter Chair and as President of Upstate Senior Network.
