Memory Walk 2010 Updates
Release Date
Thank you to everyone who participated in one of our Upstate Memory Walks this year! We have enjoyed awesome support from communities across the Upstate, and we are so thankful for your time, effort, and generosity.
Below are the total amounts raised to date for our 2010 Upstate Memory Walks:
Anderson Area (Anderson & Oconee counties) = $63,000 **OVER GOAL***
Spartanburg Area (Cherokee, Spartanburg & Union counties) = $106,500 ***OVER GOAL***
Greenville Area (Greenville, Laurens & Pickens counties) = $91,000 (pushing to top $100k for the 4th consecutive year)
In addition to Memory Walks in Anderson, Greenville and Spartanburg, we are grateful for the support of community walks in Seneca and Gaffney whose contributions in to the Anderson and Spartanburg Memory Walks helped put those events over goal!
The walks are now over, but there is still time to contribute to Memory Walk. With your help, we know we can reach the $100,000 mark for the Greenville Area Memory Walk!
November is National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month, a perfect time for one last fundraiser. This is a great opportunity to host a casual day at your workplace with our Casual for the Cause stickers, or to sell Forget-Me-Not flower pin-ups or put out collection cans. Please contact me, and I would be happy to supply you with any of these materials. We will be accepting donations for Memory Walk 2010 through November 30th.
Thank you again, Upstate, for all you do to move our mission forward! Your support helps us provide programs and services to help local families impacted by Alzheimer?s disease and related dementia, as well as fund critical research efforts for better treatments and a cure. Thank you for joining us in our vision of A World Without Alzheimer?s!
