New Alzhiemer’s Association Caregiver Support Group

The GHS Center for Success in Aging will begin a new support group for the Alzheimer's Association, located at our office (255 Enterprise Blvd., Suite 101 (RED awning) Greenville, SC 29615). The group will take place on the FIRST THURSDAY of each month, beginning in August. Facilitator will be Social Work Care Manager for the Memory Health Program, Meghan Socko, LMSW.
The first group will be Thursday August 6th at 10:00am until 11:30am. Due to limited space, the group will be RSVP only and be limited to 15 attendees per session. To reserve your spot, you must contact the Center for Success in Aging at 864-454-8120.
The Alzheimer's Association's Cargiver Support Groups are deisgned to provide emotional, educational, and social support for caregivers through regularly scheduled meetings. They help participants develop coping methods and encourage caregivers to maintain their personal, physical and emotional health, as well as optimally care for the person with dementia.
