New Day, Inc. Of Spartanburg awarded Three-Year CARF Accreditation

Spartanburg, SC —8/19/2014 — CARF International announced that New Day, Inc. Of Spartanburg has been accredited for a period of three years for its Community Integration: Psychosocial Rehabilitation (Adults) program, Governance Standards Applied . The latest accreditation is the 6th consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has awarded to New Day, Inc. Of Spartanburg.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

New Day, Inc. Of Spartanburg is a Nonprofit organization with offices at 1530 Asheville Highway. The program, New Day Clubhouse has been providing Psychosocial Rehabilitation services in the Spartanburg, SC area since 1987. New Day’s mission is to assist adults with mental illness to develop their abilities to live as independently as possible within the community. New Day also owns and operates two HUD 811 PRAC apartment complexes specifically designed for adults with mental illness.
