Next Steps of South Carolina (NSSC)

We are looking for people to volunteer in NSSC Next Step Program affiliates in the Charleston, SC area. NSSC affiliates help our neighbors living in poverty to get out of poverty. We offer volunteer training at St. James Anglican Church, 1872 Camp Road, James Island, SC 29412 monthly. There is no cost, just a willingness to help your neighbor. The next introductory classes are: (a) Thursday, January 18th from 9:30 to Noon, (b) Monday, February 26th from 9:30 to Noon, and (c) Friday, March 23rd from 9:30 to Noon. You need only attend one class. Please see our website for information about our NSSC affiliates. The Next Step Program is a hand-up, not a hand-out program. The people we help are willing to take the initiative to get out of poverty.
