Registration now for the Ending Abuse in Later Life Project Kick-Off

August 28, 2017

To officially announce the launch of the City of Charleston's Ending Abuse in Later Life project, the Mayor's Office on Aging is hosting a free event featuring nationally recognized trainers from the National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life, who will lead participants through a case study to explore elder abuse and victimization, and how local leaders can create a coordinated response to address the growing problem of elder abuse in the community.

Due to limited seating and the intent to create a multidisciplinary environment for learning and collaboration, we are asking all interested individuals to apply to attend the event.

You can access the application via the website listed in the Contact Information section of this post.

All applications must be submitted by Friday, September 1, 2017.

Please note, we may not be able to accept all applications to attend. If we are not able to accept an application, we will offer priority registration for one of our upcoming Ending Abuse in Later Life multidisciplinary service provider trainings.
