September 21, 2022

Register Your Senior Service Business or Organization for the Fall Festival and Wellness Expo, Friday October 28, 9 am -12pm.

Business Registrations Still Open for 2022 Fall Festival

The Lourie Center will host its annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 28, 2022, and we want you to be a part of the fun! The Lourie Center will host a variety of senior services and businesses to represent at the festival. The 2022 theme is “A Motown Morning" and will feature a DJ and Motown musician impersonators. This is free event for the seniors and the public to attend. Festival guests will enjoy entertaining music and performances, a classic car display from the Sandlapper Antique Auto Club, health and wellness resources and services, and door prizes all morning. The first 150 seniors to arrive will receive a ticket for a free box lunch to takeaway.

For the safety of the community, we will be encouraging a mask-optional, socially distant format, but the Lourie Center Fall Festival will once again be an indoor experience. Tables and displays and will be set up distributing information and goodies from our vendors, and there will be health screenings, flu shots, and a variety of entertainment and activities!

We are calling on senior service providers from the Midlands to promote their products and services, and registration is now open! The Fall Festival is a GREAT opportunity to share information face-to-face with the senior community. Sponsorships offer your business unique promotional opportunities. Participating businesses will be recognized in our Fall Festival promotions, program, and our lobby posters. Morning coffee service and lunch are included! This is an annual fundraiser, with all proceeds supporting Lourie Center programs.

Executive Director Sandra Owensby encourages us all to “Help Support the Lourie Center by joining us for the annual Fall Festival. It is a fun, educational event for all of us. As always, the Fall Festival will be a spotlight on important resources and services available to seniors.”
