Resource Fair in honor of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day!

April 21, 2021

Whether you are a senior, caregiver, or industry professional, this past year reminded us to continue to innovate the way we connect and support one another. That support is essential in preventing, identifying, and referring elder mistreatment that occurs in our community. With that said, the Elder Abuse Training and Treatment Program is excited to announce our first ever World Elder Abuse Awareness Day* Virtual Resource Fair on Thursday, June 10 at 11:00 AM.
Our goal is to highlight the services our partners from across the state of South Carolina are providing for older adults, and how we support aging gracefully, peacefully, and respectfully. Organizations are asked to prepare and present a 3-minute infomercial-style presentation of your services that we will live stream and record for distribution. Sign up at https://redcap.musc.edu/surveys/?s=ECRCCKAN3K to join us!

If you are interested in sharing your organization's services, please contact us directly at ElderAbuseHelp@musc.edu for separate registration link.

*World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is an annual day and recognized worldwide on June 15th.
