SENIOR SERVICE PROGRAM LAUNCHES IN GREENVILLE

June 25, 2008

Care Connection, a non-profit organization that provides care management and life programs for seniors has launched its services in Greenville County through efforts in the Freetown community.

Care Connection kicked off its Caring for Freetown program last week at the June birthday party held for seniors at the Freetown Community Center.

Care Connection will begin offering Geriatric Care Management services on Tuesdays in September at the community center located at 200 Alice Avenue.

Care Connection is a geriatric care management organization. It connects seniors and those who care for seniors to resources designed to help seniors and their families better manage everyday life and maintain their independence and dignity in a safe home environment.

Care Connection has been doing outreach and care management in Spartanburg, Union and Cherokee counties. Its arrival in Greenville is courtesy of a grant from the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority.
