Service Provider Survey
Release Date
Hello SPIN,
I recently joined the City of Charleston Mayor’s Office on Aging to coordinate the City’s Ending Abuse in Later Life Project. This is a grant-funded project of the Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women providing training to law enforcement and service providers about abuse in later life, as well as looking at ways the City can enhance its response to victims of such abuse.
We are currently conducting a Community Needs Assessment of local service providers to get a better understanding of experiences and needed services. Some of you may have already received this survey via email, but if you haven't, I invite you to share your thoughts on services needed to support victims of abuse in later life.
The service provider needs assessment can be found at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/eallorg
Please complete the service provider survey by April 30, 2017. It has 26 questions (mostly selecting from lists) and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
In addition, we are surveying adults age 50 and over to share their experiences with abuse in later life and needed services and support. This survey is completely confidential. If you are able to assist us in administering this survey to adults you serve or have questions, please contact me at odonnellc@charleston-sc.gov or 577-2234.
Thank you,
Cheryl
