South Carolina Respite Summit

The SC Respite Coalition will sponsor a Respite Summit on Wednesday, June 18 from 9 AM until 3:30 PM at Seawell's Banquet and Reception Center in Columbia. The address is 1125 Rosewood Drive. The goal will be to develop a vision of what respite could look like by 2020 for all family caregivers in the state.
The Respite Summit is to be a day of work and collaboration with the goal of creating an easily accessed respite system for family caregivers of all ages. The Summit is open to professionals from the private and public sector along with family caregivers and faith community representatives. There is no fee. National lifespan respite expert and leader, Jill Kagan, will be in attendance.
