Release Date
Last month all Spartanburg County Public Library locations reopened to the public for limited hours and limited services were available. As we move into July our hours and services will expand somewhat. Beginning on Monday, July 6, all Spartanburg County Public Library locations will be open Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Patrons will still be able to check out materials and pick up holds. All locations will offer express internet services and free printing.
The Kennedy Room for Local History and Genealogy services will be available by appointment. Notary services will also resume July 6 where available. Visit our website for more information. Patrons are asked to continue to practice social distancing. Masks are encouraged as it may help reduce the spread of COVID. Your safety and the safety of staff are important.
We value your patronage at the libraries, and we are continuing to do everything possible to ensure a safe library environment for our community as we navigate our new normal. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns and we look forward to seeing you at the libraries.
