USN Community Outreach Funds

We are fast approaching the end of a great 2005 for the Upstate Senior Network. As many of you know, last year we presented Community Outreach funds to the Upstate Chapter of the Alzheimer?s Association, Senior Action and the Senior Centers of Spartanburg. This year, we will again present checks to non-profit MEMBER organizations that support the senior communities throughout the Upstate.

In order to be considered to receive the Upstate Senior Network?s Community Outreach funds,
you must meet the following criteria:
1. Be in good standing and a 2005-paid member of the Upstate Senior Network
2. Be a charitable, non-profit organization

In addition to the list above, the USN Board asks that you submit a one-page essay stating why you feel your organization should receive these funds. Please email your essay to Sarah Lynne Howie at president@upstateseniornetwork.com no later than Friday, October 14, 2005.
All essays will be reviewed by the Board, and checks will be presented during the November Chapter meetings.
