October 24, 2011

Great News!

After several years of NO cost of living increases, Congress just passed a bill to increase the VA Aid & Attendance benefits by 3.6%

Starting January 2012, eligible recipients will receive the following monthly pension:
Married Vet $2,020
Single Vet $1,704
Surviving Spouse $1,094

The American Association for Wartime Veterans holds regularly scheduled seminars to educate veteran families on this important benefit that can help offset the cost of assisted living and nursing home care.
